Candle Care Tips

Get the best burn from your candle with these simple care tips:

1. Trim the Wick

Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch to prevent smoking, uneven burning, and soot buildup.

2. Let It Burn (the First Time)

Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface is melted — usually 2–3 hours. This helps avoid “tunneling” and ensures an even burn every time.

3. Burn Smart

Only burn your candle for 3–4 hours at a time. This extends its life and keeps it safe.

4. Keep It Clean

Make sure the melt pool is free of wick trimmings, matches, or debris to keep the flame clean and steady.

5. Stay Safe

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended

  • Keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable items

  • Place on a heat-safe surface

6. Stop at the Bottom

Stop burning when about ½ inch of wax remains. This protects the container and surfaces from overheating.

Bonus Tip:
Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its scent and color.
